Award Season: Ugliest Game of the Year

Why do I even care about the Chicago Bears anymore? To be honest, I don’t really. Every year it’s the same BS. Hope runs rampant around July and August, then the bottom falls out somewhere in early September. SEPTEMBER!!!!! Other fan bases feel this way as well. The Jets. The Lions. The Browns. For decades!!! The Chicago Bears are well entrenched in that sad-ass group of losing franchises. Sure we all have had pop-up success and a good run here and there, but to think we DON’T deserve to be in that sad-ass group is a mistake. The offensive strategy on Monday Night Football against the Minnesota Vikings was LAUGHABLE. Now do not get me wrong. This isn’t an anti-Ryan Poles post. I think dude is doing his job well. This is a Matt Eberflus and Luke Getsy shit-talking fest. You dudes think THAT was an NFL-caliber offensive game plan? For real for real?? Nah. You FN kidding. Screen. Screen. Drop back, dump off. Screen. Hand off. You FN guessed it. Screen. For the love of Cairos Santos, WTF?!?!?

Sadly, I believe this horrid showing was absolute proof of 2 things. First is that Poles is building this team the right way. Young, big, physical lineman on both sides of the ball. Young, big, athletic defensive backfield. Young, smart, cheap running back. The second is that The Flus and Getsy must go. We still don’t know 100% if Justin Fields can sling it. Come on guys, you are not saving your jobs. Ya ain’t. There is no reason to not open up the goddamn playbook a little. We don’t need shit hole worthless wins in November when we have zero chance at a playoff berth. PLAYOFFS?!?! Hahahahaha. See Matt and Luke, ya’ll are jokes. Eberflus can coach the ever-living shit out of that defense. They are playing well. But to “install” that game plan and then not try and call any of the other 2M+ plays you have at your disposal is a downright crime. A fireable offense. The only goddamn offense we witnessed Monday night. I believe Ryan Poles will get this team where we the fans want them to be. Hopefully, the McCaskey’s want the same thing. Can’t wait until the draft, and of course July and August!
